Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy offers "more than an education", they are dedicated to providing the whole experience. To continue to deliver the best for their students, teachers, parents and community, they are renovating and expanding their facilities. Improvements will occur in phases, with the first involving the 4,595 sf of renovations to their weight room, adding large garage doors to expand into the outdoor spaces and add a new locker room. Another phase will involve 3,570 sf of renovations to expand and modernize their existing kitchen.
The final phase is an addition to the front of the building, transforming the face of the school. Guests and students will enter through the new Founders Plaza that will provide outdoor gathering spaces and will honor the eighteen families who began the school in the late 1960s. From there, they will arrive inside the new commons area that will host a multitude of uses from cafeteria to lobby to event gathering space. The floor to ceiling wall of windows will bring in natural light and create connections between the exterior and interior spaces.
The weight room renovation is underway, the addition phase has just begun, and the kitchen renovation phase will occur primarily over summer break.
