Marina Crasi has been making a positive difference on the projects that she has worked on over the past year at SōL Harris/Day. Is Interior Design what you thought it would be?
Interior Design has met and exceeded my expectations by seamlessly blending both creativity and functionality. It goes beyond reflecting personal style, as it also enhances practical living. In this field I have the opportunity to craft spaces that align with aesthetic preferences while contributing to a more functional and livable environment. The ability to effectively communicate these ideas to clients adds an additional layer of satisfaction to the practice of Interior Design.
What do you think are SHD’s strengths?
SHD excels in fostering a comfortable environment, encouraging individuals to strive for their best, all while supporting your learning journey. SHD promotes a collaborative and cohesive co-working atmosphere, facilitating seamless teamwork and the sharing of ideas and expertise.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The most satisfying aspect of my job is connecting with a diverse range of clients and representatives. Constantly expanding my understanding of various products, fabrics, materials, and colors provides me with the chance to turn my vision into reality. Recognizing that my efforts might have a lasting impact is truly a gratifying experience.
What made you choose Interior Design as your career?
Growing up in a family deeply connected to this industry has not only fueled my passion for this field but has also broadened my understanding of its dynamic nature. This upbringing has provided me with valuable insights into the complex workings of Interior Design. Additionally, I have always been driven by the desire to ensure that spaces are not just constructed but carry a purpose and intention behind their design.
