Westfield Country Club's Club Master Plan, Investing in the Future of the Club and Community

Westfield Country Club, located in Westfield Center Ohio, is building on its legacy through the WCC Club Master Plan, a comprehensive initiative designed to elevate the member experience and invest in the future of the community. The plan introduces brand-new facilities including the clubhouse, pool, and sports courts, and enhancements to the cart barn and parking area. Together, these enhancements represent a meaningful investment in both the club and the community it proudly serves.

Rooted in History, Reimagined for Today

Both inside and out, the new design honors the site’s history while delivering a refined, contemporary experience. The architecture of the new clubhouse reflects a modern agrarian aesthetic, drawing inspiration from the site’s agricultural heritage and the farms that predated the current golf course. Interior selections were thoughtfully curated to reflect nature’s raw elements with refined elegance, creating warm, inviting spaces.

Designed for Seamless Experiences and Meaningful Connections

SōL Harris/Day thoughtfully planned the clubhouse to enhance the overall experience and create welcoming, engaging spaces for members, guests, and visiting insurance agents. The new locker rooms are designed to improve efficiency and free up space. And expanded dining areas allow the club to better host outings and group gatherings, supported by upgraded à la carte and banquet kitchens designed for exceptional service.

The golf shop is strategically located next to the cart staging area, creating a natural flow for golfers as they move between spaces. An informal living room anchors the clubhouse and enhances the experience, linking the bar and grille with golf simulator spaces that can easily transition into fully equipped meeting rooms with full conference functionality. The new design reflects a modern clubhouse while paying homage to Westfield’s agrarian insurance roots.
