Interior Concept

The office building was completely renovated to reveal a contemporary new look that utilizes a mix of advanced technology and functional design to promote more intensive cross-team collaboration to ultimately enhance the customer experience. To maintain the company’s branding, the interiors were adorned with shades of white, gray, and black, allowing only a select few introductions of the company’s red circle logo to pop in the workspaces. More open office areas were created and views into rooms were developed using glass doors and walls, offering more transparency within the office building and bringing in natural light to more workspaces.

The newly renovated office spaces feature a new state-of-the-art monitoring operations center, service dispatch, technology solutions lab, technology evaluation lab, Engineering Center of Excellence hub, and customer experience video collaboration center, as well as two new dedicated training facilities.

Highlights

• Reworked existing interior workspaces to provide more open office workstations, with views to the outside, while maintaining a high-level security
• Designed to incorporate branding standards, which represents their high-security, high-tech, modern image
• Unique office spaces include a call center, high-tech video conference room and a fabrication lab
• Phased construction schedule required complex coordination to maintain occupancy during construction and a secure workplace
• SHD provided the planning, design, furniture selection, cost estimating, scheduling and construction management
• The second phase of renovations is currently underway to renovate the existing second floor common spaces that include open offices, individual offices, conference rooms and a breakroom addition
